WARRANTY
Thank you for purchasing an Amen jewel.
Below we report information on the materials used to make Amen jewels, their care and maintenance, exchange policies and the legal guarantee.
PRODUCT INFORMATION
Amen jewels are produced in compliance with Legislative Decree 206/2005 in Italy and in the PRC and imported into Europe (EU) by the company Croce del Sud srl with registered office in Arezzo, via Enrico Mattei 51, Italy, PI IT-02153030511.
Amen jewels are produced with precious materials including 925 Silver, 14 and 18 carat Gold plating, 316 Steel and Bronze. They are also produced without cadmium, lead and can present nickel release rates compliant with EC Regulation 1907/2012 and EN 1811:2011.
SILVER
925 Silver is an alloy consisting mainly of Silver with the addition of other metals (925 parts of pure Silver out of 1000). Jewellery created with this Silver alloy is marked with a hallmark indicating the number 925.
RHODIUM-PLATED AND BURNISHED SILVER
Jewellery produced with this alloy can also be rhodium-plated or burnished. The surface of burnished jewellery has been subjected to a special treatment that leads to an oxidation of the metal that gives the desired burnished effect. This oxidation may disappear over time. The speed of this process depends on how the jewellery is used. Sweating, the acidic pH of the skin, perfumes, chlorine, silver polishing products, creams, are some of the factors that cause the burnished finish to fade. This loss of intensity of the burnished finish is considered normal and not a defect and is therefore not covered by the warranty. Rhodium plating is a galvanic bath that applies a layer of rhodium to silver to make it whiter and brighter. Rhodium plating, like burnished, can also suffer the effects of loss of brilliance, returning the silver to its natural colour. This is also not considered a defect, but rather a natural process of consumption of rhodium and is not covered by the warranty. 925 silver, in particular, tends to oxidize over time for the same reasons mentioned above. Its oxidation therefore does not constitute a defect and is not covered by the warranty.
ROSE SILVER AND YELLOW GOLD
The rosé and yellow jewels are made of 925 silver and plated in 18 carat gold. Please remember that the loss of plating over time can always be due to factors such as the acidic pH of the skin, salt, perfumes, creams, sulfur, lacquers, in addition to normal use of the jewels. It is therefore not considered a defect and is not covered by the warranty.
NATURAL LEATHER
The leather used to produce Amen jewelry is absolutely natural, strictly vegetable tanned and is treated with products compliant with the European Regulation in force (REACH Regulation). The leather, being natural, could widen and loosen over time. Furthermore, variations in color and thickness could appear. It is strongly recommended not to wet the leather in water or other liquids that could cause damage or discoloration.
STONES
Amen jewelry can also be produced with the addition of natural stones, precious stones, semi-precious stones, hard stones, high quality synthetic stones, cultured pearls, enameled synthetic pearls, mother of pearl.
